The Bonfire of the Vanities
Today was a pretty normal day except that two of my hours didn't take place, which gave me the opportunity to do my math homework in school. Yay. I also read some more pages in the English book. I am glad that I am advancing with it. I still don't have half of it read, but I am almost at page 300, which is good and it finally turned interesting. I really enjoy reading it now. Sometimes I don't approve of the language used, but this is to make it more authentical, so I understand why certain words get used in some places. Other than that it is really cool to read, and I can review on a lot of once learned vocabulary, I still don't know all of it, but I understand the main action :) this is what counts for me. I hope that my style of writing will also improve by reading English books.
When I came home I got so tired all of a sudden, therefore I took a nap until I had my piano lesson. I got to drive there with my dads car, therefore I didn't have to drive gas saving. My piano lesson went allright. I hope that I can prepare myself well for studying music in case I decide to do so. My teacher had her right hand burned. Poor her, but it will get better soon, she said.
At home I turned my computer on and my best friend was online, so we chatted for quite a while and now I will start my homework.

well what could I use instead of authentical? Can you give me some words? I am sure I didn't read as much English as you did, but I hope that reading English books will improve my writing and speaking skills. We will see ...
